“President Biden’s State of the Union address highlighted the accomplishments of his first three years in office – and what they mean for everyday working Americans – while laying out a clear and unifying vision for the future. 

“The President’s commitment to building the economy from the middle out has led to increasing economic strength and wages, record jobs creation, investments in US manufacturing, and lower costs for everyday essentials like prescription medication. At the same time, the President’s address served as a clarifying and decisive reminder that we cannot stop pushing for progress and shared economic prosperity.

“Make no mistake, the work ahead will continue to be met with resistance, as President Biden’s pro-worker, cost-lowering agenda stands in stark contrast with the anti-worker Republicans in Congress. The congressional GOP has collectively become the party of Trump – sowing chaos, protecting rich corporate tax cheats, and prioritizing harmful policies that impede economic gains for working families.

“For Our Future is committed to continuing to hold MAGA Republicans in Congress accountable as we organize in communities and communicate with voters, and we remain steadfast in our locally-focused efforts to support President Biden and his Administration’s agenda. As we move forward to November, we are also ramping up to help defeat former President Trump and his congressional acolytes in key swing states across the country.”
