WASHINGTON, DC – Heading into Election Day, For Our Future (FOF) is finalizing one of the nation’s largest and most impactful independent expenditure direct voter contact programs in support of Kamala Harris for President and Democrats up and down the ballot in key battleground states.
Since September 1, in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, and Ohio, FOF has contacted more than 8.8 million voters, including:
- More than 1.4 million door knocks
- More than 4.76 million phone calls
- More than 2.68 million text messages
FOF organizes year-round in battleground state communities, engaging in issue advocacy and elections with a focus on economic and social issues facing America’s working families. As FOF ramped up for the 2024 election, the organization has grown to more than 620 organizing, canvassing and field management staff leading into Election Day.
“In a challenging political environment, For Our Future has remained steadfast to community organizing and direct voter contact with the goal of electing progressive champions who will create shared economic prosperity and stand up for working families,” said Sky Gallegos, Executive Director of For Our Future. “We believe that organizing in communities by people from those communities, talking with their neighbors, leads to more authentic and impactful conversations – and heading into Election Day we are confident that our organization’s impact will be felt at the polls.”
FOF’s largest program this year is in Pennsylvania, where For Our Future Pennsylvania executed one of the largest ground game efforts since the organization’s founding in 2016.
“As we look towards Tuesday and beyond, we are confident that our efforts have impacted the trajectory of organizing and politics in Pennsylvania,” said Rob Johnson, State Director of For Our Future Pennsylvania. “I’m incredibly proud of the work this team has done to organize towards a better future for all. The fight continues.”
In addition to the top of the ticket, FOF state programs are focused on the re-election of U.S. Senators Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin, Jacky Rosen in Nevada, and Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Elissa Slotkin for U.S. Senate in Michigan, as well as other down ballot races in these states.
